TWO JBL Expeditions to the South Seas

Due to an abundance of applications, there will be two JBL South Seas Expeditions in 2023! Another reason is we have now divided them into a diving and a snorkelling group. After consultation with the skipper of the boat, we discovered there would always be compromises in the choice of spots for a mixed group of divers and snorkellers. But on such a unique expedition destination, we would always want to target the best spots for both snorkellers and divers. The new situation is ideal for the JBL research team, as we can take measurements and make observations both in the shallow water areas of the Tuamotu Archipelago and in the passages and deep water areas of the region. A total of 18 participants will accompany these two extraordinary JBL expeditions at the end of May and the end of July under the leadership of marine biologist Heiko Blessin.
